Hello!
I am Mason Sluder, a passionate gameplay engineer and designer.
Over four years, I’ve worked in multiple professional teams of developers on Roblox to create and release games, including handling the pressure of these releases by providing updates, debugging code, and ensuring player satisfaction through effective communication and compensation management.
Additionally, I am a graduate from North Carolina State University where I earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Music. With seven years of coding experience across multiple coding languages, I have taken classes on the use of C++, C, Java, Python, with some personal projects in Lua, Python, and C++.
I have led 6 programming and game development projects in my time at NC State, including the full design and implementation of a game engine, a fleshed out 2D platformer, a class registration system, and multiple other large-scale projects. I am also well versed in test-driven development strategies and version control systems such as Git.
In a leadership capacity—along with leading development projects—I helped lead a NC State organization, including directing group rehearsals multiple times a week, setting deadlines for group members and holding them accountable.
